Frequently asked questions
Does Nekoledger only work with Exact Online?
Yes, we start with Exact Online in the Netherlands. Other packages and countries will follow.
Can Neko make payments?
No. Neko only has read access to your bank. It can prepare a payment proposal, but you always pay yourself, in your own bank.
What if Neko is not sure?
Then it asks, with a concrete proposal and a yes/no button in Slack. It always says whether something is proven or a guess.
Does this replace my accountant?
No. Neko does the daily bookkeeping so your accountant can review and advise. The firm stays in charge of the annual accounts.
How quickly does it run?
Connecting takes a few minutes. Then Neko observes for a few weeks without booking anything, so we can measure how well it knows your administration.
Where is my data stored?
In the Netherlands, in Google Cloud (Eemshaven). Bank and Exact tokens are stored encrypted.
